Masarah
Van Eyck, PhD
After earning a doctorate in colonial French history from McGill University, Masarah returned to her hometown of Madison, WI to serve as an editor at the Wisconsin Historical Society. There, she fell in love with publications, communications and, well, even copy editing (or “copyediting,” if you prefer).
While directing communications for non-profit and academic organizations, Masarah continued to build her freelance writing career. She also honed her skills in design, branding and illustration.
Masarah has had the great pleasure of ghostwriting for a handful of leaders in academia and medicine. Her most recent project: a medical memoir about research at the National Institutes of Science.
Today, Masarah does what she loves most — providing writing, editing and publicity services to help leaders and organizations tell their best stories.
Masarah knows how to pull out the best in people and the organizations they represent and translate it into the work. And she will keep you smiling and having fun through the entire process.
