Masarah
Van Eyck, PhD
After earning a doctorate in colonial French history from McGill University, Masarah returned to her hometown of Madison, WI to serve as an editor for the Wisconsin Historical Society. There, she fell in love with publications, communications and, well, even copy editing (or “copyediting,” if you prefer).
While heading development and communications for the state branch of the National Endowment for the Humanities and, later, serving as a communications director for the International Division at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, Masarah continued to build her freelance writing career. She also honed her skills in design, branding and illustration.
Today, Masarah does what she loves most — providing writing, editing and publicity services to help leaders and organizations tell their best stories.
Masarah knows how to pull out the best in people and the organizations they represent and translate it into the work. And she will keep you smiling and having fun through the entire process.
